Gardeners love to focus on their outdoor areas. There is a lot that you can do in your garden or patio to create a sense of interest that is unique. However, there is also a lot that you can do inside the home. People who move to an apartment, often find lost after giving up their big home. However, you will be surprised at how many indoor gardening ideas there are.

It doesn't have to be complicated at all. For example, there are people who have a hanging garden that is suspended from the wall. One may have plants in a jar or in a metal or wooden container. Terrariums are also used for basic simplicity. This adds to the minimalist theme. It adds to the atmosphere, while maintaining the same sense of practicality.

With vertical gardening, you can turn this into a sense of decor as well. It can also help increase your mood. Plants help decrease your anxiety and tension in your life. It has been proven that depression is decreased when you have more plants in the home. You can have these growing on the wall inside a frame. You can also have the plants growing on a ledge. You will be able to use a variety of containers.

Containers can be suspended from the ceiling in a creative way. Some people will use a terrarium. This can look very unique, especially in the way you design and display the plants. Obviously you have to be selective in what you put in your terrarium. Usually succulents will work well because there is not a lot of maintenance involved.

Some people become stuck after moving from a home to an apartment. This especially applies to a studio apartment which is obviously small and compact. You will find that there is less space to work with. However, there is plenty of wall space and people don't often think of this. You can find many different ways in which you can attach planters to a wall. The vertical garden is very effective and it can be used just about anywhere.

However, if you see a new type of terrarium made out of a mason jar or a herb garden, it is worth experimenting with this. It is not going to set you back. It is great to make changes with plants because they add to the decor. It is an inexpensive way of making a couple of changes in your home.

Maintenance will also be an issue with a vertical garden. Usually artificial grass can be less of a problem. Authentic grass can take a lot of time to maintain. A moss wall can also look very good, but it can take some time to maintain.

There are some vegetables that you can grow inside as well. You can do this on a window ledge. You can place this hanging near a sliding door or window. It can look great when you place it in the right type of container. It also creates a nice fresh appeal to the home. There are many different lettuce varieties that can do a lot for this type of garden. If you have enough sun, you can also grow tomatoes.
