Envirotex Lite - Pour On High Gloss Finish And Surface Enhancer

By Stan Alderson

Envirotex is the latest reactive polymer compound that delivers reliability and a superior finish that has been developed to last against the harshest elements. It requires a temperature of 70 degrees in order to completely cure into a high gloss over a period of 8 hours. Envirotex Lite - Pour On High Gloss Finish is a unique product that allows for the creation of a deep and beautiful surface layer.

Envirotex has become a popular option for homes and businesses that is available in a 16 and 32 ounce container. It has been developed to assist in resurfacing different material and objects without having to rely on expensive restoration to produce the desired result. For a completely dry and smooth surface, curing takes 48 hours and will produce a hardened texture that delivers maximum shine without being polished.

This product range can be applied to wood, fabric, paper, painted areas, flowers, rocks, dough, and styrofoam among others. In most instances of performing a resurface, you may only have to apply a single coat, but if more layers are required, simply wipe clean with a cloth and alcohol before reapplication. This waterproof solution can preserve and enhance the appeal of surface areas, furniture, and objects.

When preparing the solution it is important to mix the resin and hardener together in a container with a smooth, flat bottom and walls. Be sure to scrape the sides and the bottom of the container while mixing to prevent against the formation of clumps. If the necessary mixing directions are not followed, the solution will form a soft and sticky texture.

Specific types of safety gear will have to be worn including goggles and rubberized gloves while creating the mixture. An existing surface that has been previously coated with a product such as polyutherane will need to be sanded and then wiped clean with rubbing alcohol. Ensure that the area does not contain large amounts of wax and rather pour a little bit too much solution than too little when completing a surface.

All resin and hardener mixtures must be accurately measured. Once you have thoroughly mixed the content, do not wait and spread over the surface using a stiff paper for a smooth result. Any formation of bubbles can be removed by exhaling on it or using a propane torch with caution.

To cure the product, maintain a room temperature of between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The higher the temperature and controlling dust will allow for faster drying times including the delivery of a glossy surface. Considerations should be made for tooling and procedure that will produce an attractive result.
